Kristin Allen, who helps run issues at Allied Arts, is tremendous pumped for his or her new Halloween-themed show. That is the primary time they’re doing one thing like this, and it sounds prefer it’s going to be an actual deal with!
Ghostly Locations and Native Lore
They’ve been going round city snapping photos of locations that give people the creeps, like Central State Hospital and Georgia Faculty & State College. Ever been on a ghost tour? Nicely, the Tate Home, successful cease on these excursions, shall be within the highlight too. And let’s not neglect about “The Casanova Killer,” a creepy man from the ’70s, who as soon as handed by means of Milledgeville. His story will even be instructed.
“We’re getting a mixture of every part, from pictures to blended media artwork,” says Kristin.

Calling All Artists: Get Your Spook On!
The clock is ticking for artists who need in. September 28 is the deadline to submit your art work. And hey, it doesn’t need to be native to Milledgeville. So long as it matches the creepy, Halloween vibe, you’re good to go.
Mark Your Calendars: Exhibit Dates and Particular Reception
Come October 5, the exhibit opens its doorways, and you may test it out till Halloween. Drop by between 10 a.m. and three p.m. from Monday to Thursday to get your fright repair. And guess what? There’s a particular social gathering for the exhibit on October 13—yup, Friday the thirteenth! Really feel like dressing up? Go forward, costumes are completely cool. The shindig will occur on the Marlor Home from 6 to eight p.m.
Kristin and the group have large hopes for this exhibit, and so they wish to preserve doing it sooner or later. “This isn’t simply our exhibit; it’s the neighborhood’s. We actually hope people will take part on the enjoyable, each artists and guests,” she says.
