On Worldwide Mom Language Day 2024, we invite you to study concerning the work of three Cultural Survival companions who acquired a grant from the KOEF (Keepers of the Earth Fund) in 2023 for tasks that strengthen indigenous languages from their very own tradition and with various methods.
Yankuik Kuikamatilistli Cultural Centre (Nahuatl language, in Mexico)
In September 2023, the Yankuik Centre held the twelfth E-book Honest in Our Mom Tongue “Amoxilhuitl tonemillis in tonanyoltlahtol in Xoxogulan”, by means of a creative and tutorial programme with face-to-face and on-line actions, to contribute to the train of the linguistic rights of a number of indigenous peoples of central Mexico. Varied actions have been carried out, together with movie screenings, workshops, language programs, conferences and creative displays.

Runapacha Collective (Inga and Kichwa languages, in Colombia)
