The flight to Varanasi didn’t take off from Chandigarh as its operator couldn’t make the plane obtainable for connectivity. SpiceJet flight to Varanasi, the constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was listed on the Airports Authority of India’s winter schedule and imagined to be made operational October 30 onwards.
Chandigarh International Airport Limited (CHIAL) CEO Rakesh Ranjan Sahay mentioned, “The flight operator didn’t ship the flight. There should be some miscommunication because the flight was introduced for the winter schedule. We are attempting to determine communication with SpiceJet. A flight is listed on winter or summer season schedule by the AAI solely after having affirmation from the flight operator.”
Three new routes had figured within the winter schedule — AirAsia working to Goa; SpiceJet working to Hyderabad, Patna, Varanasi, Mumbai and Pune; and Air India Categorical to Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.In the meantime, the airport has adopted AAI’s Sky Books 360, a customized enterprise useful resource planning system for small airports.
